AT CALVARY
Christians hear the voice of Heaven call
Calling us from out the skies
Angels' voices all around us
Love is flowing from the rise
Tears can be a means of sorrow
Hurt can be an opening part
Giving us a bright tomorrow
And a wisdom to our heart
Tears can be a woeful sermon
Keeping us from joy apart
Love can be the only answer
On the road to victory
And the knowledge that our Saviour
Died for us at Calvary

ReplyDeletejust read several of your poems, they are lovely. I love the happy ending one because I love happy endings and Jesus is the best One. When I was a child my father used to make up bed time stories for me before I went to sleep, and they always had happy endings. He died when I was eleven, I was actually in the room at the time. I couldn't talk about him for years without crying. The lovely thing is that I know there is a happy ending for him because he loved the Lord Jesus.
