THE DANCING MEN

THE DANCING MEN

When day is done and the sun goes home from Tullybungel park
That’s when the little fairy men go dancing in the dark
They dance round bush they dance round tree they dance round babbling brook they dance round keeper Rodgers house just to have a look
They dance up lanes they dance down dales they skip and jump with glee
They dance on to the bluebell wood to see what they can see
They dance along Tullybungel road right up to down dale Farm
And when they find the old scare crow they dance around his arm
So if you would go to Tullybungel don’t go there in the dark
No go when you can see for if the fairy men were there they would dance round you. And me.
