OCTOBER
MORN
An
ever expanding carpet awaits as I step
over my doorstep and as I look across the road the autumn trees fill my eyes
with colour their fading green leaves coming to a flaming red point almost as
if God had taken a heavenly torch and
set them alight ,looking up I see a misty blue sky illuminated by a week watery sun , pulling my scarf tighter against the growing
wind my tingling ears are delighted to hear the crunching pavements as children make their way to school trying
to outrun the beaconing bell.

Different style, but still very nice.
